Make a Bathroom-Friendly Summer Jumpsuit

3-Day Jumpsuit Sewing Workshop in Stockholm

Join me (Hetty) at Verkstan på Kajen for a three-day sewing jumpsuit workshop, where you’ll learn to sew a beautifully fitted, bathroom-friendly Leim jumpsuit from start to finish.

This hands-on course is perfect for complete beginners as well as more confident sewists – I’m here to support you every step of the way!

Together we will make a ’wearable toile’ of The Penny ezp™ Jumpsuit or Playsuit (with shorts) – just in time for your summer holiday!

Beginners Absolutely Welcome

No prior sewing experience is needed. I’ll guide you gently and patiently through every step.

I can’t wait to meet you, introduce you to the world of Leim, and welcome you into the wonderful Verkstan på Kajen community.

Day 1 – Measurements, Pattern Adjustments & Cutting Out

We’ll begin by getting to know each other and exploring the tools we’ll use.

You will learn how to:

  • read the jumpsuit pattern
  • measure yourself accurately
  • adjust the paper pattern for a personalised fit (we can change the back of the jumpsuit so you can wear a bra or change the shape of the trousers, for example)

Then we’ll cut your wearable toile (test jumpsuit) and, if there is time, start sewing it together.

Day 2 – Perfecting the Fit & Constructing the Bodice

With fresh eyes, we’ll either start or continue with sewing your jumpsuit – beginning with the bodice. Once this is sewn, we will evaluate the fit, make any necessary adjustments, and transfer these adjustments to the paper pattern (so you can replicate it accurately at home).

Once we are happy that the bodice fits beautifully, we will move onto sewing the trousers.

Day 3 — Sewing Trousers, Zips & Final Assembly

On the final day, we’ll finish your jumpsuit. This includes sewing two concealed zips (nobody panic!) – and join them to the bodice to form your complete jumpsuit.

If you’d like, I’m happy to take photos of you wearing your creation. We’ll wrap up with a small celebratory drink.

About Leim – Functional, Beautiful Designs You Can Make Yourself

I’m Hetty, the founder of Leim , a small design-led brand creating clothing that is both functional and beautiful – including my signature bathroom-friendly jumpsuits that don’t require you to fully undress to pee. Yes, really. Style without the inconvenience!

All Leim pieces are created slowly and thoughtfully: small-scale production in Stockholm, timeless silhouettes, and durable, sustainable fabrics. Teaching you to sew your own jumpsuit is part of this philosophy – a more conscious, joyful way of dressing.

As I settle into life in Stockholm, I’m excited to grow a community of people who love design, craft, and mindful making.

Language: I speak English and understand Swedish (learning more every day!) – we’ll make everything work smoothly together.
